If your QR code appears distorted or doesn’t display properly in PowerPoint, it may be because the default shape fill is set to a gradient. This setting can also prevent your second PowerPoint slide from loading in your slide deck.
Follow the steps below to fix the issue of the Missing second / result slide in PowerPoint
Select any shape in your PowerPoint presentation.
Right-click the shape and choose 'Format Shape'.
Under Fill, change the setting from Gradient fill to 'Solid fill'.
Right-click the shape again and select 'Set as Default Shape'.
Re-insert your instruction slide. The QR code should now appear as a standard black code.
If any results slides were missing, delete and re-insert those polls as well—your result slides should then display correctly in your slide deck.
Changing the default shape to Solid fill will affect all new shapes you add to your slides. This ensures QR codes display correctly but may slightly change the appearance of future shapes.
