In most instances, presenters will address the Q&A comments, ideas and questions verbally when presenting. But there are situations when you run out of time, or know beforehand you will not be able to address all those questions.
Your colleague or moderator can also use the Q&A board to answer those outstanding questions on the Q&A board itself. This can be done by editing the original participant question or comment within the dashboard, then add a prefix response like 'Answer:' and supplying your chosen answer.
This functionality can be helpful when you want to keep track of the answers in the Q&A board and will also be beneficial to participants who have joined the meeting at a later stage so they won't miss a response.
Remember all items in the Q&A board will always be saved in the data report for future reference.
For this functionality the Q&A moderation must be turned ‘On’.
Follow these steps in your dashboard:
From the 'Needs review' or 'Reviewed' or 'Published' tabs choose the more options (three dots) next to the question you would like to answer.
Select the 'Edit' option. The question can now be edited.
Add something like a ‘Q’ and ‘Answer:’ as a prefix to the question so your participants can distinguish between what the original question was and what the answer is supplied by the moderator. Or say, ‘Response from GJ Smith:’ Then add your answer and press the ‘Correction mark’.
Present view will automatically be updated with the answer now included as soon as you select the publish option to push the modified question out (the speech bubbles). Participant devices displaying the Q&A will also be updated.
