In some instances, you might want to change a message, correct a spelling error or remove your announcement from the Q&A board. It is easy to make these changes from the manage announcement list.
To edit an announcement do the following:
Go to the 'Manage Announcements' button.
Click on the three dots next to the announcement.
Select 'Edit' and retype/change your announcement.
Click on the correction mark. The new announcement will now appear on the Q&A board.
How to remove/unpublish an announcement
If you would like to remove an announcement from the Q&A board you must unpublish your announcement. When an announcement is unpublished it is removed from participants view in the participant app as well as Present view, but will still appear in your manage announcement list as well as in the data report.
Go to 'Manage announcements' button next to the announcement list.
Click on the 'X' next to the announcement. It will now remove the announcement from the Q&A board. To republish it again click the publish icon again.
How to delete an announcement
If you want to permanently remove an announcement, you can also delete it individually. First, unpublish the announcement to remove it from the Q&A board. Then, use the three dots next to the announcement to delete it. As a safety measure, we suggest that you unpublish announcements rather than delete them, ensuring they are removed from the Q&A board but not from the data report.
