Vevox for PowerPoint
Due for release on 7th June
- PowerPoint slide decks will now remember which Vevox session they were previously linked with.
- Previously all PPT files would always link to the last Vevox session used, regardless of the PPT file used. This sometimes led to confusion with Polls being opened in a different session than the user expected.
- PowerPoint files with existing questions will now require those questions to be imported into the Vevox session you connect to before using the file. The user is asked to choose whether or not to do this when connecting to a new Vevox session.
- Previously questions that did not already exist in the Vevox session would be automatically created when the poll was opened from PPT. This sometimes led to confusion with polls being added to different sessions than the user expected.
- Clearing results from a question slide in PowerPoint will also clear the results from the corresponding poll in the dashboard.
- Previously PPT questions and Vevox questions were treated separately. Clearing a poll from PPT would result in a duplicate poll being created in the dashboard to avoid results being lost by mistake. This led to confusion with multiple extra instances of polls being created in a users dashboard without their knowledge.
