In Vevox, we use different terms for different types of interaction. Here’s a simple breakdown:
-
Polls – These are the questions you, as a host, presenter, lecturer, or teacher, ask your audience in real-time. Polls are typically used in live events, whether in person, online or hybrid through webcasts or virtual meetings.
-
Questions & Comments—This feature allows participants to send the host their questions or comments using the Q&A board. It is also live, allowing for real-time engagement.
-
Surveys—Unlike polls, surveys allow participants to answer questions at their own pace, either during a session or afterward. Since they don't require live participation, they are considered ‘offline’ interactions.
Number of questions & polls
You can ask an unlimited number of polls or questions in each session, with no limit on the number of answer choices for multiple-choice questions. However, to keep things user-friendly, try to limit the number of choices so participants don’t have to scroll too much.
Results & Reporting
All responses from polls, questions, and surveys are captured and available in the data reporting—but note that reporting is not available on free accounts.
