In this article we cover:
In the world of interaction and the Vevox environment, we use terminology in different ways. To keep it as simple as possible this is best explained as:
Polls – these are the questions you as a host, lecturer, presenter, or teacher are asking your audience, participants or students. Polls are normally asked in a live environment whether it is a live event with participants together in a room/venue or through live online meetings & classes that happen through webcasting on the internet.
Questions & comments - this is when the audience, participants, or students ask questions to the host or send in their comments. This can happen in the Q&A board (Question & Answer Board). It is also a live feature.
Surveys – when questions are asked to the audience, participants, or students where they can answer the questions at their own time and pace. Or ‘offline’ as we call it. It does not have to be a live interaction. Participants or students can answer these questions after the session, or during a session but at their own pace.
The results and data for polls, questions & surveys will be captured and available in the reporting afterwards.
Note that free accounts do not have access to reporting.
