How is Vevox’s security rated or tested?
Vevox is regularly subject to ‘Penetration tests’ (authorised cyber-attacks) as part of client purchasing processes in order to provide assurances on security.
Does anonymity mean there is a risk of ‘trolling’ or inappropriate behaviour?
By allowing everyone to contribute there is an inherent risk of receiving inappropriate questions or comments. However instances of this are very unlikely and can be eliminated. Vevox features profanity filters, the ability to edit text responses on the fly and all responses can be viewed and moderated before displaying back to participants. You can choose the appropriate approach for your audience.

Will Vevox EVER share my results data?
No, this is your data, we just provide the means to collect and store it. Given you don’t know what data you will collect yet, this is true whether you are on a free account or paying one.
With GDPR in mind, what happens to personal data collected?
One of the key benefits of Vevox is that contributions can be TRULY anonymous. Not only does that elicit the most honest and uninhibited responses but it keeps things really simple in terms of GDPR and data security as you simply don’t have any personal data. In cases where personal data must be collected it is secure and managed accordingly to GDPR guidelines.
How do I stop unwanted attendees accessing a meeting? The unique 9 digit ID to access Vevox meetings makes guesswork or happening upon the wrong meeting next to impossible. As an extra security measure, you have the option of adding a secondary passcode to the joining process. This requires participants to first enter the 9 digit Meeting ID and then they will be prompted to enter the passcode as well. There is also a clever additional security feature in the back end that reduces this risk further.
To add another layer of security, Microsoft single sign-on (SSO) can be utilized but this of course removes the anonymity.
