Battling to log into your Vevox account? Here are some suggestions to check when you have issues logging in:
1. Can’t log in to your Vevox dashboard as a session host
- You do not have an account - first you need to sign up for Vevox.
- Your email or password that you have supplied is incorrect.
- You are entering the incorrect login information:
- If you signed up with your Microsoft account then you will need to select the 'log in with Microsoft’ option at the login screen. Your credentials are stored in your Microsoft account. Vevox holds no details of your password and cannot change your password.
- If your company uses Single sign-on (e.g. you access Vevox using your Company or University email and password) then the login process should take you through your company login portal. Your passwords are managed by your company/institution. Vevox has no details of your password and cannot change your password.
2. Can’t log in with your device as a participant
- Check that the 9-digit Session ID you have entered is correct.
- The session you are trying to join has been stopped or has not been started by the session organizer.
- Your session organizer has added a passcode to the login process as an extra security measure.
3. Cannot log into your PowerPoint Add-in
Ensure you log into PowerPoint the correct way.
- If you signed up with your Microsoft account then you will need to select the 'log in with Microsoft' option at the login screen. Your credentials are stored in your Microsoft account. Vevox holds no details of your password and cannot change your password.
- If you are Single sign-on user or you normally access Vevox through your University’s VLE/LMS you will have to log in with the Authentication code.
- If your company uses Single sign-on (e.g. you access Vevox using your Company or University email and password) then the login process should take you through your company login portal. Your passwords are managed by your company/institution. Vevox has no details of your password and cannot change your password.
- You have not created any sessions in your dashboard – If you are a brand-new user and have never created a session in your dashboard, logging in through PowerPoint will give you an error message. You will have to create a session first as there is nothing to connect to. Follow these steps:
Go back to your Vevox dashboard.
Create a session.
