Having trouble logging into Vevox? Here are some quick checks to help you get back in.
In this article we cover:
- Issues logging in as a session host
- Issues logging in as a particpant
- Issues logging into the PowerPoint Add-in
1. Can’t Log Into Your Vevox Dashboard as a Session Host?
If you can’t access your Vevox account as a host , check the following:
- Do you have an account? If not, you’ll need to sign up first.
- Incorrect email or password? Double-check that your login details are correct.
- Using Microsoft login? If you signed up with Microsoft, select ‘Log in with Microsoft’ on the login screen. Vevox does not store or manage your password.
- Using Single Sign-On (SSO)? If your company or university uses SSO, your login will redirect you to their portal. Your password is managed by your organization, and Vevox cannot reset it.
2. Can’t Log In as a Participant?
If you’re trying to join a session but can’t log in, check these:
- Is the 9-digit Session ID correct? Ensure there are no typos.
- Has the session started? The session organizer may not have started it yet or may have already ended it.
- Is a passcode required? Some sessions have an extra security passcode—check with the organizer.
3. Can’t Log Into the PowerPoint Add-in?
Follow these steps to resolve login issues with the PowerPoint Add-in:
- Logging in correctly? If you signed up with Microsoft, select ‘Log in with Microsoft’ on the login screen. Vevox does not store your password.
- Using Single Sign-On (SSO)? If your organization uses SSO or if you normally log in through your university’s VLE/LMS, you’ll need to use the authentication code provided by your institution.
