This set up requires you to be an Account Administrator of your Vevox account with an Institutional plan and you will also need to be an administrator of your Brightspace account.
- In your Vevox dashboard go to Account > Admin Settings > LTI.
- Select 'Create New' and choose 'Other'.
- You should see a screen like the one in the below image, we will need this information later.
- In the brightspace Under the settings menu, navigate to Manage Extensibility
- Select Register Tool
- Fill in the following details
- Name: Vevox
- Domain: https://lti-api.vevox.com
- Redirect URL’s: copy the 'Vevox target link' link from the LTI deployment section in your Vevox dashboard
- Open IDConnect Login URL: copy the 'Vevox OIDC initiation URL' link from the LTI deployment section in your Vevox dashboard
- Target Link URI: copy the 'Vevox target link' link from the LTI deployment section in your Vevox dashboard
- Keyset URL: copy the 'Vevox JWKS URL' link from the LTI deployment section in your Vevox dashboard

- Assignment and Grade services
- Deep linking
- When finished press Register
- On completion you will be presented with the Brightspace Registration details. Copy these details into the relevant fields in your Vevox Dashboard.
- Client ID -> Client ID
- Brightspace Keyset URL -> JWKS endpoint
- Brightspace OAuth2 Access Token URL -> Token endpoint
- OpenID Connect Authentication Endpoint -> Authorization endpoint
- Issuer -> ISS
- In your brightspace dashboard go to Admin Tools > External Learning Tools and create a new deployment
- In the security settings of the deployment make sure to check the following settings:
- Org Unit Information
- User Information
- Name
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- User ID
- Username
- Org Defined ID
- Name
- Link Information
- Title
- Description
- And under configuration settings
- Auto Create Grade Items
- After saving this deployment you should get a Deployment ID. This can also now be entered into the Vevox settings screen on your Vevox dashboard.
- The last thing to do is create a link you can use to add this to your course content. In your newly created deployment click on 'View Links'.
- Click 'New Link'
- Set the type as 'Basic Launch'
- Set the URL as the 'Vevox target link' a seen in step 3 above.
