Importing self-paced activities into your session
To import activities, you first need an exported file. This file is created when you export an activity from another Vevox session.
Once you have this file, you can import activities using one of the four following methods:
1. Import from a previously exported file
If you have exported an activity from another session, you can easily re-import it. Read the instructions below.
2. Import from sample content
You can also opt for the 'ready to use' sample content in the Vevox dashboard where Vevox have done the thinking for you. Select what activities you would like to import.
3. Import from an Excel File (Mass Import)
This method bulk imports self-paced activity questions from a pre-populated Excel sheet. Read this article.
4. Import questions from the Question Library
Any polls or questions you’ve created since 25 May 2024 are automatically saved in the My Previous Questions section of the Question Library – including those from self-paced activities.

To import your own activity do the following steps:
Go to the Self-paced tab – Select Self-paced from the navigation menu.
Add a new activity – Press the Add activity button.
Upload your file – In the Import surveys/quizzes section either drag and drop your Vevox import file or browse for it manually.
Select your File – Locate and select the Vevox import file from your device.
Preview your activities – Once uploaded, a preview of the activities to be imported will be displayed.
Confirm the Import – Click Import to finalize the process. Your newly imported activities will now appear at the top of your list.
If the file contains multiple activities, you can choose to import all or only specific ones by unchecking the ones you don’t need before confirming the import.
To import a previously set up question (or poll) into a new activity:
Create a new self-paced activity and click Add Question.
In the content creation dialog, choose 'Question Library'.
Use the search bar to find your question. Click the arrow next to it to preview and confirm it’s the right one.
Click 'Add Question'. Your selected question(s) will now be added to your new survey.
