There are two ways of duplicating an activity and re-using it.
1. Duplicate an activity in the same session
If you want to duplicate an activity into the same session, you can do it with the click of a few buttons. If the activity has been started, it will automatically be duplicated without the participant results. Remember to re-name the activity to avoid confusion.
All paid plans can run unlimited
activities. However, to run more than one activity at the same time you will require either a
Pro, Institution or Enterprise plan. You can easily
upgrade to include this functionality.
Follow these steps to duplicate an activity:
Select Self-paced from the navigation menu.
Click on the 'more options' (three dots) next to the activity name. A drop-down will appear.
Select ‘Duplicate’.
The duplicated activity will appear at the bottom of the list.
Re-name this activity to avoid confusion.
2. Duplicate an activity to run in a different session
Should you wish to duplicate an activity to use in a different session, you would need to use the export and import functionality. This activity should be imported into a new session with a unique 9 digit Session ID.
Before you start, make sure you have exported the relevant activity and stored it in your chosen folder.
Then follow these steps:
Go to your Vevox dashboard session list.
Select ‘Create Session’.
Give the session a new name.
Select Self-paced from the navigation menu.
Now import the previously exported file by selecting 'Add activity’ and drop the file or click to upload in the 'Import surveys/quizzes' section.
Select which activities to import if there are more than one and press ‘Import’.
Your new duplicate actiuvity will appear in the self-paced activities list.
