Accessibility Statement for Vevox App
Vevox is an audience engagement app committed to giving everyone an equal voice in the workplace and the classroom, and we are committed to providing a tool for the widest possible audience regardless of ability. We are continually improving the accessibility and usability of our product and adhering to the relevant accessibility standards.
Measures to support accessibility
Vevox takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of the Vevox HTML App:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
- Include people with disabilities in our design personas.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Vevox HTML App aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. When we say 'aims to conform' we recognize that the scenarios in which a live polling and Q&A tool, such as Vevox, can be utilized is very broad and diverse. There are many situations where the experience of a participant is driven by how a presenter (the Teacher/lecturer or meeting host) chooses to conduct the Vevox session.
