Setting up correct answers in PowerPoint works the same way as in the Vevox dashboard. Correct answers can be added directly in the task pane for multiple choice, ranking, text, matching, and numeric polls.
How to set the correct answer for a Text poll:
Text polls allow you to set more than one correct answer. This is useful for accommodating different spellings or variations of the same answer.
Vevox ignores upper and lower case, so participants just need to focus on spelling. You can add up to 15 correct answer options.
We recommend keeping correct answers short — ideally one or two words. Longer answers make it harder for participants to get an exact match.
Example question: Who was the 55th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom? Correct answers: Boris, Boris Johnson, Johnson, BoJo
If the correct answer needs further explanation, add it as a standard slide in your PowerPoint presentation.
When correct answers are submitted, they will be visible at the bottom of the slide on poll close as well as in the participant app.
