We recommend testing your polls on a mobile device before your live event, meeting, or class. Make sure you reset any test results before the actual session — or straight after your test run.
Resetting results permanently deletes all selected poll responses from both the PowerPoint slide deck and the Vevox session and data report. This data cannot be recovered.
Follow these steps to reset your poll results:
Open your PowerPoint presentation in editing mode.
Make sure PowerPoint is connected to your Vevox session and that your polls and responses are visible in the task pane on the right.
Select the polls you want to reset by clicking the poll type icon next to each one, or use the Select All checkbox to select every poll in the presentation.
Click the Reset (arrow) icon at the top of the poll list.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Reset responses to confirm.
All selected poll responses will be permanently deleted from
- The PowerPoint slide deck
- Your Vevox session
- Newly downloaded Excel data reports
In your slide deck you will still see two slides for each poll — a question slide and a results slide — but the results slide will now be empty.
You can now enter slideshow mode and start polling again.
Previously, clearing results only removed them from the PowerPoint slide deck. When a poll was answered, a duplicate poll with results would appear at the end of the poll list in your dashboard. This is no longer the case — results are now fully cleared across all areas.
