What are labels and what are they used for?
Instead of the traditional way of using folders and grouping specific sessions together, labels (allocated keywords) make it easier to find related sessions or identify sessions that you want to re-use, edit, or share.
When you allocate labels to your sessions, the labels will appear in the session list when you access your Vevox dashboard. It is also possible to apply labels in bulk to sessions, create new labels, or remove unused labels.
Labels can also be sorted by the label name so you only view relevant sessions making searching of sessions quick and easy. Or, if you are a session host, you can only choose to see labels relevant to your sessions. The dashboard is capped at 20 labels - if you need more, delete some redundant ones.
How to add a label to your session
Go to the session list view.
Select the 'more options' (three dots) next to the session you want to label and click 'Edit labels'.
Then enter the new label name in the new label bar in the top right and press the 'Plus sign' to allocate the label to the session.
How to add labels to multiple sessions
Go to the session list view.
Select the sessions you want to label by selecting the tick boxes next to them.
Click on the 'Edit labels' option at the top of the session list. The label panel will open on the right side.
Then enter the new label name and press on the 'Plus sign'. Close the label panel again. The new label will now appear next to all the sessions.
How to remove a label
Go to the session list view.
Select the 'more options' (three dots) next to the session from which you want to remove the label and click 'Edit labels'.
Deselect the label(s) you want to remove.
Close the label panel. All the relevant label(s) will now be removed.
To remove a label from multiple sessions, select the relevant sessions by clicking on the tick box next to the sessions. Then go to the 'Edit labels' option at the top of the session list and deselect the label you want to remove.
When a label has a dash through the tick box next to it – it indicates that it is attached to some sessions selected but not all, like the 'testing' label above.
Sorting your session list by labels
Searching for sessions using labels (like the label 'Susan') will bring up all the sessions with the label Susan attached to them. Even if other labels are also linked to that session.
Labels can be helpful when using keywords like specific department names, host names, or favorites. You can only search for one label at a time. Remember to reset your filters when sorting your list to clear all previous searches and ensure you view all the sessions.
