What Add-in are you using?
We recommend testing or practicing your polls with some mobile devices before your live event, online meeting, or class. It is important to clear these test results that are now linked to your polls. Remember to do this before the actual event or meeting day. Or you can do it straight after your test run.
Follow these steps to clear the results of your polls:
Go to the editing mode of your PowerPoint slide deck. Make sure your PowerPoint is still connected to a Vevox session and showing the polls in the task pane on the right of the presentation.
At the bottom of the task pane - select the 'Clear results' option.
A pop-up menu will appear asking you if you want to delete all your results or the current slide results in the PowerPoint slide deck. Select the relevant option.
If you chose the 'All' option - all the slides that had voting results in your slide deck would now be cleared of the results. If you chose the 'Current' option - only that slide's results will be cleared. (Note that you will still have two slides per poll. One is the question slide, the other is the result slide. But now the result slide would have no more results in it.)
From here you can enter slide show mode again and start polling.

There are two different ways of clearing your results if you are using the legacy PowerPoint Add-in.
Method 1 - clearing results
The first way is by selecting the Clear Results button from the ribbon.
This will give you the option where you can choose to:
1. Only clear the results from the currently selected slide or
2. You can select to clear the results from all the slides in the current presentation.
Method 2 - clearing results
The second way is when you are in slide show view. Through this method, you can delete and re-poll your questions without the need to exit from PowerPoint slide show mode.
If you navigate to a slide that you have already polled and contains results then the vote prompt will display a message to notify you.
At this point you can advance the slide as normal, this will not re-poll your question and will simply move on to the next slide.
If you are sure you want to re-poll the question then you can press the 'Delete key' on the keyboard. This will clear the results currently on the slide and then allow you to conduct the poll again as normal.
