To change your password:
When logged in to your Vevox account you can change your password from the Account settings in the Main Menu.
Click on the 'Settings' button in the main menu.
In the dropdown select 'Account settings'.
Enter your existing password followed by the new password you wish to use and then press 'Save'.
To reset your password:
The way you reset your password depends on what option you used to register for your Vevox account. You either signed up for Vevox with:
Option1: Your username & password (top login option)
Option 2: Use Microsoft or your Company details to sign in (called Single sign-on e.g. you access Vevox using your Company or University email and password)
Option 3: You are using the PowerPoint Add-in OR you are an LTI user and access Vevox by clicking a button from a third-party tool (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Brightspace, etc.) You will use an authentification code in other words.
Option 1. How to reset your password if you sign in directly to Vevox
If you have forgotten your password and can't log in to your account you can reset the password by clicking on the 'forgot password' link on the Vevox login screen.
Entering your email address here will trigger a password reset email. Follow the link in this email and you will be prompted to provide a new password to access your account.
Option 2. How to reset your password if you sign in with Microsoft and SSO
For Microsoft login go to https://www.microsoft.com/
For Office 365 Business login go to https://www.office.com/
When your organization uses SSO to access Vevox, then after you enter in your email address you will be automatically directed to your Single sign-on portal.
Option 3. How to reset your password if you sign in with an authentication code.
When accessing Vevox by clicking a button from a third-party tool like Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, LTI users can only sign in using the Authentication code. In this instance, if you need to reset your password, you need to reset it on the third party platform directly. The ‘Forgot Password’ option will not work.
