By default, a response counter appears in the top-right corner of your Present view, keeping you informed about participation levels during the live voting.
What Does the Response Counter Show?
- The number of participants connected & logged into your session
- The number of participants who have submitted a response to the poll
Example Views
With response counter ON:
In the example below: while the poll is open, you can see 16 participants are logged in, and 13 have voted in the poll.
When the poll is closed, it will only show the number of votes.
With response counter OFF:
Here, the counter is hidden, and participant numbers are not displayed in Present view.
How to hide the response counter
From your dashboard, go to ‘Settings’ in the main navigation menu.
Go to the ‘Present view’ section.
Toggle the ‘Show response count’ to off.
The number of loggedin participants shown in the response counter will always match the number of connected devices. In Present view, the response counter appears during live polling to help the host stay informed and gauge the level of participant interaction in real time. Connected devices are not just available in Present view but also on the Q&A board. Both the response counter and connected devices can be turned on or off as needed.
