Read this article if you are using Present view to present your polls and questions to your audience.
There are two ways participants can join your session. They can either join your session
- Using a 9-digit Session ID, or
- Using a QR code
A quick and easy way to invite participants to your session is straight from within your PowerPoint session with a special slide showing the joining instructions. This slide can be added to your presentation with the click of a button.
Your presentation will now have an instruction slide included showing your Vevox 9-digit Meeting ID. It will also show a QR code that participants can scan with their mobile devices that takes them straight to the Vevox session without logging in first.
To include the joining instructions in your presentation, do the following:
Under the Vevox tab in your PowerPoint ribbon, go to the task pane on the right side. The very first description will be the 'instruction slide'. Click on the 'Add' button.
An instruction slide with the joining steps will automatically appear in your presentation.
Make sure to add this slide to the beginning of your presentation so that your participants can join from the start.
As these are normal objects in PowerPoint, you can move them around, change colors, change font sizes, etc. You can also use the design templates for the joining instructions by selecting the chosen slide design in the task pane.
Move or resize the QR code
If you need to resize your QR code - click on the actual QR code and resize it according to your needs. This is version dependent and available to all PPT API 1.5

- Supported on Mac later than version 16.64.804.0
For PPT versions before this, select the outer frame of the QR code to move or resize it.
