When you create a Vevox session, you automatically become its 'owner', giving you full control over viewing, editing, managing, and deleting the session. If you need assistance, you share the session with a colleague, they can view, edit, or manage it, but they can't unshare it or delete it.
But there are also instances where you need to transfer ownership because someone is leaving the company or changing roles, or do you simply want someone else to take over?
Note that if you transfer your session ownership, you can no longer access or see it in your dashboard.
To transfer the ownership of one of your sessions:
Go to the session list and select the three dots.
Click on 'Change owner'.
Select the colleague's name & press 'Save'.
Then press 'Yes' to the popup confirming you want to change ownership.
Once the ownership transfer is complete, the session will automatically appear in the new owner’s dashboard and be removed from yours.
- If your colleague's name does not appear in the dropdown, it means they are not yet part of your user list. Contact your company’s Vevox representative to add them. After they accept the invitation and set up their account, they can be assigned as the new owner.
- Important Note: After ownership is transferred, co-hosts or colleagues with access to the session can no longer delete it.
