A webcast is broadcasting live video over the Internet. It’s not tied to formats, compatible devices, or anything else. If someone is doing a live stream and it’s done over the Internet, it’s a webcast.
Today we get many webcast platforms like Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, Google Meet, Webex, Skype, YouTube, etc.
Vevox works with these platforms – all you have to do is share your screen when broadcasting.
We also have three special Vevox App integrations for Microsoft Teams, one for Zoom and one for Webex.
For the other webcast platforms, we do not currently have specific tailormade integrations for all, but Vevox will operate 100% when you share your screen with your audience and run your polls as you would normally do on a separate tab on your browser. Make sure to select the right tab/application with Vevox questions on, when your webcast platform asks you to choose a screen for audience display.
Vevox can be displayed in either Microsoft PowerPoint (for PC’s only) or in present view (for Mac’s and PC’s).
