When you want an identified winner with the name visible for everyone to see, be sure to change your session settings to 'Identified'. This way participants are prompted to enter their names and surnames when they first join the quiz. All winners can then be identified for all to see.
Follow these steps to see the participant names:
Go to your session list.
On the session you want to change press the 'more options' (or three dots) icon.
Select 'Settings'.
Select the 'Participant Identification'.
Then select the 'Identified' setting. (Ignore the Profiles in Q&A settings for 'Show names, Hide names & Participant's choice. They are only relevant to Q&A.)
Press 'Save'.
Your participants will now have to enter their personal name & surname before they can join the quiz. They will be identifiable by name and surname when showing the standard leaderboards.
Identification for Team Leaderboards:
Only team names & scores will be displayed when using team leaderboards. Normal participant identification settings are not required for the Team Leaderboard. By default, participants stay anonymous as they are assigned to a team once they answer the Team question. To view individual participants in each team, enable identification to access names in the data report.
Reveal the individual names:
When you are running your quiz in 'identified' mode you can press the 'Full List' button once you have shared the leaderboard with all by pressing the trophy option. This will bring up a pop-out display showing the list of names for each participant grouped by the place they are on the leaderboard. When you want to remove the list of names, click on the ‘Full List’ option again to remove it from the audience display.
