For most sessions, a session host will share the voting results as well as the correct answer after each poll.
This is done by using the control bar in present view in 4 steps:
Step 1: Opening the poll
Step 2: Closing the poll
Step 3: Showing the amalgamated voting results of participants
Step 4: Showing the correct answer for the poll
Step 5: Then moving on to the next poll.
As a default, Present view shows the amalgamated voting results after each poll was asked. It is up to the session host to decide if they would also like to display the correct answer.
If you are running a quiz, presenting a class or online session, you have the option to reveal all the correct answers after you have finished asking all the polls to your participants. (Using step 1, 2 & 5 only.)
To reveal the correct answers at the end of the session after the last poll has been answered, do the following:
Start your session and make sure the Settings is switched off for 'Automatically display results on poll close’ in the features tab.
Launch present view.
Open the first poll (use the control bar at the bottom of your screen).
Close the poll after your participants have answered the poll.
Move straight to the next poll without showing the voting results or correct answer by selecting the correction mark in the control bar.
Do this with all your polls until you reach the point where you want to display the correct answers to the polls.
Then click on the actual poll in the control bar to bring up a list of the polls in this session.
Press the ‘Show Results’ option next to the question number (left side columns) to show the amalgamated voting results of the participants and to display that poll.
After you have showed the voting results, also show the ‘Correct answer’ button on the control bar to reveal the correct answer on-screen for all to see. (Note the previous poll must be closed before you can show the results or show the correct answer.)
Each question must individually be selected in the control bar, voting results displayed, and then only showing the correct answer. Do this with all the polls you want to show the answers to. You can also hide the answers again.
Remember to display the leaderboard at the end of your session by selecting the trophy icon.
