For most sessions, a host will share voting results and the correct answer after each poll. The typical flow in Present view looks like this:
Step 1: Open the poll
Step 2: Close the poll
Step 3: Show the amalgamated voting results
Step 4: Show the correct answer
Step 5: Move on to the next poll
By default, Present view displays the combined voting results after each poll closes. The correct answer is then displayed before you can move on and open the next poll.
However, if you're running a quiz, lecture, or online session, you may prefer to reveal all correct answers at the end, after all polls have been asked. In this case, you'll only use steps 1, 2, and 5 above while collecting responses, then go back to reveal results and answers at the end.
Before you start
Make sure the Automatically display results on poll close setting is switched off in the Polls tab. When this is off, the Display real-time results toggle will also be greyed out.
Method 1: From the Dashboard (recommended)
Launch Present view, then open your first poll from the dashboard.
Monitor responses using the response counter in the dashboard. The Present view mirror in the top right of the dashboard shows exactly what participants see on their screens.
Close the poll once participants have answered.
Move straight to the next poll — do not show voting results or the correct answer. Open the next poll and repeat this process for all your polls.
Once you're ready to reveal answers, go back to the first poll in the dashboard and click Show Results, then Show Correct Answer.
Repeat for each poll — each question needs to be selected individually in the dashboard before displaying results and the correct answer. You can also hide answers again after revealing them.
Display the leaderboard at the end of your session by selecting the Display Leaderboard button.
You must select each poll individually in the dashboard to reveal its results and correct answer — there's no bulk reveal option.
Method 2: From the Control Bar in Present View
Open your first poll using the control bar at the bottom of Present view.
Monitor responses using the response counter, then close the poll when participants have finished answering.
Do not click Show Voting Results or Show Correct Answer. Instead, click the active poll in the control bar to bring up the full list of polls in this session.
Click the title of the next poll you want to open.
Close the poll again from the control bar once responses are in.
Repeat steps 3–5 for all polls you want to collect responses for.
To reveal results, click the poll in the control bar to bring up the poll list, then click the question title. Because responses exist, the voting results will display automatically.
Show the correct answer by clicking the checkmark icon in the control bar.
Move to the next poll using the next poll button in the control bar, then reveal the correct answer again.
Repeat until all results have been revealed. You can also hide answers again after displaying them.
Display the leaderboard at the end of your session by selecting the trophy icon in the control bar.
This will display the leaderboard on in Present view as well as on the app:
