This feature is only available for Enterprise or Institution plans.
With the role of Account Admin, you can change the default settings and theme colors for all newly created sessions in your account to ensure a standardized experience whenever using Vevox .
With admin access, you can:
- Set Session defaults - such as poll and Q&A preferences, participant identification, enable profanity filters, set up welcome messages in App and include joining instructions for Present view.
- Turn on the Profanity filter - customize and manage the profanity filter.
- Change the branding -modify Vevox’s appearance to match your brand in the Participant App & in Present view
- Enable SSO - manage access control through login management, including auto-provisioning, password settings, and participant authentication
- Use the Account Admin option to delete the Vevox account if required
These settings apply to all sessions created under your subscription and can only be modified by administrators in the Vevox account.
2. Adjusting the session defaults
Poll Settings
- Display voting results as percentages or as numbers.
Q&A message board
- Enable or disable the message board.
- Decide if moderation is required before messages appear.
- Turn downvotes on or off (upvotes remain available).
Participant Identification
- Choose whether participants must enter a name or can remain anonymous.
Profanity Settings
- Enable profanity filters for poll & Q&A or turn it off completely.
Welcome message
- Create a custom welcome message displayed in the app when participants join.
Present view settings
- Show or hide joining instructions and QR codes.
- Decide if participant response counts should be displayed.
3. Customize the Profanity filters
Admins can edit the profanity filter by adding or removing words from the default list. These changes apply to all future sessions.
4. Setting the branding options.
Modify Vevox’s appearance to match your brand:
- Participant app – Set custom images and colors.
- Present view – Upload a company/institution logo, background, and color scheme. Instruction text - Choose light or dark text for better readability based on your brand colors.
Logo and images
- Logo - Appears above joining instructions in Present View. (Recommended size: 310px x 270px, ratio: 1.15:1)
- Wide Banner Image – Displays on the participant app info screen. (Recommended size: 1440px x 622px, ratio: 2.32:1)
- Backgrounds - Sets the Present View background (if no image is uploaded, Vevox’s default applies). (Recommended size: 1920px x 1080px, ratio: 16:9). If no background image is provided or the default Vevox one is deleted it will revert to the Present view background color. 5. Setting the SAML SSO.
Admins, dashboard users and participants can log in using SAML Single Sign-On (SSO). For setup details, refer to our SAML SSO set up guide.
6. Data retention settings.
Set how long data is retained in your account before being deleted. For assistance with this feature, contact our support team at support@vevox.com .
