In this article we cover:
- Sorting messages in the dashboard
- Sorting messages in Present view
- Sorting message on the participant app
The sorting Q&A messages is available to all Vevox accounts including Free accounts and can be used with moderation ON or OFF.
Sorting messages in the dashboard
When looking at your message lists you might want to alter the order in which your messages appear in your dashboard. When using the 'sort by' feature in the dashboard - the comments will only be sorted in the dashboard view.
There are three different sort options available for your dashboard:
- Recent at the top
- Oldest at the top
- Most liked at the top
Our 'Like' or upvote feature lets participants give a +1 to questions or comments they agree with. By sorting by 'Most Likes,' you can prioritize the most popular posts and address these issues first. If downvoting is enabled, the host can see the breakdown of up and downvotes in the dashboard and data report, but participants will only see the combined score in the Present view and in the participant app.
The default settings for the lists are:
Needs Review - messages appear with the oldest at the top.
Reviewed - messages appear with the oldest at the top.
Published - messages appear with the newest at the top.
Archive - messages appear with the newest at the top.
To sort your list simply press on the 'Sort' button and choose your option.
Sorting messages in Present view:
To change the order of the Q&A board in Present view, you need to sort the list in Present view itself. Choose between 'recent' or 'most likes'.
This is an example of a Q&A board showing in Present view. The most popular question had 10 likes and will appear at the top of the list if it is sorted by 'likes'. The next two questions have 7 and 6 likes and then are followed by the rest.
Sorting the participant app
Participants can now, via the app, sort their own Q&A board giving them the choice of 'most liked' messages at the top, or 'most recent'. This feature ensures participants have control of their own experience on their devices and also improves participant engagement.
