Some Q&A sessions bring in a flood of questions, comments, and ideas—more than you can answer live. While presenters often respond verbally, it’s not always possible to cover everything during the session.
That’s where written replies come in. You (or a moderator) can respond to questions directly within the Q&A board, helping you address more queries during live events or after the session.
Key Benefits of Q&A Replies:
- Replies appear in both Present view and the participant app.
- Participants can filter their app view to see only messages with replies.
- Helps late joiners catch up on answers they may have missed.
- Replies are saved in your data report for future reference.
Take note that:
- Q&A replies have a character limit of 1000.
- There can only be one reply to a question.
- Replies can also be deleted or edited.
- All replies in Present view will have to be revealed by pressing the reply icon. Toggle it again to hide it.
- Replies can include links as well as emoji's.
- Replies will always be easily identifiable by their background color.
- Remember all items in the Q&A board will always be saved in the data report for future reference.
This functionality is only available to Pro, Enterprise & Institution plans.
To reply to a question do the following from the dashboard:
Choose the more options (three dots) next to the question you would like to respond to.
Select the 'Reply' option.
Type your reply and press the arrow to send it.
- The reply will instantly appear in both the participant app and Present view.
- If you delete a reply, it disappears from both views as well.
